Community Resilience is the Antidote to Personal Despair.

When Indivisible Ukiah was founded in 2017, our focus was largely on electoral politics, doing lots of voter registration, postcard parties, etc. However, our environmental working group was key to persuading the city of Ukiah to stop using herbicides in our parks. This was a grassroots volunteer effort and served as our inspiration when restarting Indivisible Ukiah early in 2025.
